This versatile, yet affordable system takes signals from any four video cameras and outputs them to a TV/VCR, computer monitor or capture card with either a quad display that shows all four images at once, or a dual display consisting of a main image with a small picture-in-picture window.
Best of all, it works with virtually any type of baseband camera, including dome, ball, c-mount, tube or covert models, in either color, black & white or a combination. No other quad monitor in this price range is nearly as accommodating!
Real Time Pictures
Unlike some of the other quad processors we've come across, this remarkably adept system outputs pictures in REAL TIME, so you'll see events exactly when they happen! Compare that to inferior models that digitize pictures and sync them together, resulting in slow-to-refresh pictures, and you'll see why this is the far superior unit.
Three Video Outputs
This model also stands above the others by offering three different output connectors: Composite video (RCA), S-Video and VGA. These versatile connectors allow you to monitor camera images on any number of TVs, dedicated monitors, even computer monitors! In fact, we tested it with an old VGA monitor we had lying around, and we were amazed at how rich and sharp the pictures were!
Flexible ? Add up to 4 Security Sensors
For added flexibility, connect up to four security sensors to this unit to trigger special actions. For example, you could have the unit switch from quad mode to a full-screen when a door is opened or a separate motion sensor detects movement. Each camera can have its own normally open dry-contact sensor connected to it. All input triggers are also provided to a common output so that a time-lapse VCR can begin recording. Note: Does not work with IR equipped cameras.
Plug-and-Play
This is a pure plug and play unit. No software is required. The system includes an UL-approved AC to DC adapter (9-volts), a composite video cable, an S-Video cable, IR remote and an owner's manual. Measures 7.75" wide, 5.25" deep, and 1.25" high.
Includes IR remote for convenient access to processor functions.
