If your A/V equipment is housed behind an opaque cabinet door or in a closet, IR remote signals will not be able to reach it. Hot Link Pro solves this problem by routing the IR signals into the closed cabinet or closet. This allows you to keep equipment out-of-sight and out-of-reach of inquisitive little fingers, dust, and dirt. The high sensitivity of the Hot Link Pro receiver can also extend the range of your remotes.
Simply mount the Hot Link Pro receiver through a hole in the cabinet, closet wall, or in some other convenient external location, route the cable inside the cabinet or closet, and attach the emitters to your A/V equipment. Hot Link Pro's IR receiver gives you even more flexibility than previous models with its new slimline design, a side sensor, and a 3' cable running from the sensor to the Repeater Box. Hot Link Pro also features a "Talk-Back" LED that blinks to confirm receipt of IR commands. If you're cutting a hole in your cabinet, you can still maintain its clean lines by installing the Hot Link Pro eye in a Hot Link Pro Bezel (sold separately).
Hot Link Pro includes 6 emitters attached to a 7 ft. ribbon cable that can be easily split for running emitters to different components. An 120 volt AC to 12 volt DC adapter is included. For use in 220/240 volt countries, use a locally obtained 220/240 VAC to 12 volt DC, 100 mA adapter.
Have more than six components? Try the Hot Link Pro X12, and control up to 12 separate audio and video components through your cabinets. Add a Eye-with-Y adapter, and your Hot Link Pro will be able to receive IR commands from a second IR remote, ideal for whole-house IR distribution systems.
